Today, the George Natembeya Foundation had the honor of visiting Barmalel Primary School in Cherangany constituency, where we made a meaningful contribution to the lives of students who have faced setbacks in their education. Due to financial difficulties related to school uniforms and lunch program fees, many pupils had been out of school for months.
Our C.E.O., David Kusimba, along with Programs Officer, Godfrey Barasa, represented the foundation in extending support to five pupils by providing them with brand-new school uniforms. Additionally, the foundation donated two bags of maize to sustain the school’s lunch program for the entire term, ensuring the pupils can focus on their studies without worrying about food insecurity.
At the George Natembeya Foundation, we are deeply committed to the belief that every child deserves equal access to education. By addressing obstacles such as uniforms and meals, we aim to create an environment where no child is left behind. With the support of our community and partners, we continue to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children, empowering them with the tools and resources they need to thrive.
Together, we can build a future where every child has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the challenges they face.
