We are delighted to share an update on Beryl Kaskoni’s enrollment journey at Kibabii University. Following her arrival, Beryl encountered an unexpected challenge with her admission status, initially being categorized as a self-sponsored student rather than a government-sponsored one. Recognizing the critical importance of this status for her continued education, the George Natembeya Foundation quickly stepped in to resolve the matter.
Thanks to the foundation’s swift action, Beryl has been reinstated as a government-sponsored student, allowing her to access essential benefits and financial support associated with the program. This correction is not only a relief for Beryl but also an affirmation of the foundation’s commitment to standing by young scholars and ensuring that financial obstacles do not deter their educational goals.
At the George Natembeya Foundation, we believe education is one of society’s most powerful equalizers, creating pathways to opportunity for young people in need. We’re proud to support Beryl as she embarks on this chapter, equipping her with the tools for a promising future.
