George Natembeya Foundation Brings Hope to Kitale Medium Prison Inmates

The George Natembeya Foundation, led by Chairman Professor Ferdinand Nang’ole, extends compassion and support to inmates at Kitale Medium Prison, donating essential supplies and construction materials to improve welfare and dignity.

Reaching Out to the Forgotten
In a heartfelt gesture aimed at restoring dignity and hope to some of society’s most overlooked members, the George Natembeya Foundation (GNF) visited Kitale Medium Prison earlier today.

The visit was led by the Foundation’s Chairman, Professor Ferdinand Nang’ole, as part of GNF’s ongoing mission to uplift communities that are often left behind.

Support with Essentials and Infrastructure
The team delivered bread and assorted toiletries, offering vital support to improve the daily welfare of inmates. Recognizing the need for better facilities, GNF also donated 50 bags of cement to aid in the completion of a prison arena—a crucial space where inmates gather for daily briefings and rehabilitation activities.

Restoring Humanity with Compassion
Speaking during the visit, Professor Nang’ole emphasized the Foundation’s core commitment to serving the forgotten and encouraging those on the margins of society.

“Life is made up of seasons, and no one should be left behind. Every individual deserves dignity, encouragement, and the opportunity to rebuild their life,” said Professor Nang’ole.

This outreach exemplifies the Foundation’s belief in compassionate reintegration and second chances, reminding all that even behind bars, humanity and hope can flourish.
