George Natembeya Foundation Flags Off Amputees for Free Prosthetics in Partnership with Narayan Seva Sansthan

The George Natembeya Foundation, in partnership with Narayan Seva Sansthan, flags off its first group of amputees to Nairobi for life-changing prosthetic limbs, marking a transformative step in its medical assistance program.

In a powerful moment last evening, the George Natembeya Foundation, under the guidance of its patron, H.E. George Natembeya, launched a new chapter in its mission to uplift vulnerable individuals through impactful healthcare initiatives. In collaboration with Narayan Seva Sansthan, the foundation flagged off its first group of amputees who will soon receive life-changing prosthetic limbs.

These beneficiaries, carefully selected from marginalized backgrounds, are set to benefit from the foundation’s medical assistance program, which is dedicated to addressing critical needs and fostering renewed independence. H.E. Natembeya underscored the foundation’s vision of creating lasting change through tangible actions: “This is not just about giving prosthetics,” he stated, “it’s about restoring dignity, hope, and independence.”

The journey for these individuals begins in Nairobi, where each will undergo a thorough assessment and be fitted with custom prosthetic limbs by Narayan Seva Sansthan. Foundation chairman Dr. Ferdinand Nang’ole expressed excitement about the impact of this program, noting, “This marks the beginning of a journey for many of these individuals—a journey back to mobility and confidence.”

With high spirits and a renewed sense of hope, the group of amputees was officially sent off to Nairobi, symbolizing the foundation’s unwavering commitment to fostering change in the lives of the most vulnerable. This initiative goes beyond physical transformation; it’s a testament to the foundation’s mission to build a community where compassion and practical support go hand in hand.
